2010 Fuel Event Schedule
Even though there aren't anymore US shows planned for 2010, Virginia Fuel still has a big year planned with 4 events.

Joie & Dawn (Fuel Event Organizing Team)
The "Guitar Hero of the Day" Tournament II in August 2009 was Joie & Dawn's last official event as the 'Fuel Event Organizing Team.' They were the ones who planned our events, arranged all the food and drinks, came up with cool ideas (remember the Metallica Family Feud game?), etc. Don't worry, they're still active in Virginia Fuel. But next time you see them, be sure to tell them "Thanks!" for all of their hard work they put into Fuel these past several years.

Excerpt from 1,596 Ticket Stubs
The latest excerpt from Michelle's upcoming book (tentatively titled "1,596 Ticket Stubs") is a MUST read! It's her best one yet! Be advised, reading it WILL make you cry.

Tour Reports
We have 28 different tour reports from 14 shows from 2009 fall tour including Nashville, Atlanta, Charlottesville, Charlotte, Toronto, New York and Vegas...just to name a few. We even have a special guest tour report from our good friend, Louis "Blou" McLean!

Fuel on Facebook
Virginia Fuel is now on Facebook (finally!). Just do a search for "Virginia Fuel", and add us as a friend. Thanx to Fueler, Jeanette, for suggesting the idea of Virginia Fuel on Facebook, many, many months ago. Sadly, it took us this long to finally get off our lazy ass to create a Virginia Fuel Facebook page. Thanx Jeannette!

No more Virginia Fuel on MySpace
With Virginia Fuel on Facebook there is no real need to have a Virginia Fuel MySpace page, so that has been shut down permanently. However, the "Damage, Intoxicated" MySpace page is still up and running. The Damage, Intoxicated MySpace page is still the one place to find pictures from previous jams, listen to songs recorded at the jams, and watch videos from past jams - all courtesy of our lovely "cover" band, Damage, Intoxicated.

No more Fuel Message Board (FMB)
The Fuel Message Board (FMB) has also been shut down. It was a good idea when it was created, but the message board hasn't been used much in the past couple of years, and with Facebook becoming more and more popular, it made sense to shut FMB down.

The future of Metallica
I hope everyone enjoyed the US shows this past fall because who knows when Metallica will resurface in the States. Once they get done touring the world in 2010, I'm sure they'll take their usual year off, then get to writing the new album (which we all know takes a minimum of 1 year). So, if you think about it, the next US shows will be...2012? 2013? God, let's hope not!
