George reviews the DC show Verizon Center @ Washington, DC - 1/15/09 Next up was D.C. which is as close to a "hometown" show as I get. I think standing in line at the D.C. show was just as cold as Milwaukee and Detroit, if not colder. Virginia Fuel was well-represented at this show. We got to the rail. The Sword came out. We waited. Machine Head came out. We waited. Setlist still isn't changing much, but the boys put on a good show. It was nice to hear "Motorbreath," and it was nice to be in D.C. and NOT have some annoying drunk chick yelling at us and punching us like in 2004. This show also marked the introduction of the famed and fabled "Monkey See, Monkey Do" sign, which cannot be explained by words (and even if you see it, there still isn't really any explanation for it.)

The Good: Lots of Fuelers here, and no annoying drunk chick behind us!
