 Elvis and Soichiro (left of Elvis) I have not forgotten the first time I met him. It was at Madison Square Garden in March 1997. He was with Gerben from the Netherlands. After that, the following year I did a week of the US summer tour with him by car, travelling from San Jose to Vancouver. At the S&M shows in Berkeley the next year, we met up and I gave him some Japanese versions of some Metallica CD's. It has not fully hit me yet, and it is hard to put my thoughts into words. I tried to contact him last year, but I couldn't because his address changed. After another 5 years, I met him in 2 places in Europe. It always meant a lot to me that he spoke with me, since I don't think I appeared too friendly since I didn't speak good English.
